Privacy Policy
Last Updated: December 30, 2025
Data Controller: SkribusVOX (a brand operated by Karel Cruz, Lima, Peru; email: contact@skribusvox.com) is the data controller for all personal data collected through this website.
Scope: This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors and customers of SkribusVOX digital properties, including SkribusVOX Studio, SkribusDeco, and SkribusBooks. We collect and process personal data when you browse our websites, purchase digital art and other digital products or subscribe to our services. We are committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.
Privacy Notice Access: We publish this Privacy Policy on our website and link to it from every page (including purchase and contact forms), as required by law. Please read it carefully before providing any personal data.
Personal Data We Collect
- Contact Data: When you use our contact forms or email us (for inquiries, press, collaborations, or purchases), we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message content.
- Order Data: If you purchase digital art or products, we collect the personal data necessary to process the order and deliver your purchase (for example: name, email, billing address, payment details). Payments are handled via third-party services (Wise Bank Transfer); we do not store full credit/debit-card numbers and rely on those providers’ privacy practices.
- Technical Data: When you visit our website, we may automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and device information for analytics and security. We use tools like Google Analytics to analyze site usage. These tools use cookies or similar technologies. (Any third-party cookies on our site are disclosed here; you may disable cookies in your browser.)
How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data only for legitimate purposes and with clear legal bases. In particular:
– Contract Fulfillment: To process and administer your orders, including delivering download links by email and providing customer support.
– Communication: To respond to your inquiries or requests submitted via forms or email.
– Legal Compliance: To comply with our legal obligations (e.g. taxes, accounting) related to the sale of digital products.
– Site Improvement: To analyze anonymized or aggregated data about site usage so we can improve our website and services.
We will never use your personal data for other purposes (such as marketing or profiling) without your explicit consent. All processing is done in accordance with the GDPR.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate our site. Essential cookies (necessary for site functionality) are always active. We may also use Google Analytics (which anonymizes IP addresses) to improve the website. Any third-party cookies present on our site (such as those from social media plugins or analytics services) are disclosed here, and we will obtain your consent if they collect personal data. You can manage your cookie preferences via your browser settings.
Data Sharing and International Transfers
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with external service providers necessary to run our business, all as required by GDPR. For example:
– Payment Processors: Wise and others process payment transactions on our behalf. We provide them only the data needed to complete the payment. They are GDPR-compliant data processors with their own privacy policies.
– Service Providers: Hosting and email providers (e.g. Google Workspace) or e-commerce tools we use (e.g. Shopify, if any) may handle customer data, but only as data processors under our instructions.
Some of these providers may be located outside the European Economic Area. Whenever personal data is transferred to a country without an EU adequacy decision (such as the United States), we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place to protect your data.
Data Retention
We keep your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. For example, transaction records may be retained for several years for tax or legal compliance. Once data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data: the right of access, rectification, erasure (deletion), restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given (e.g. to cookies or future marketing). To exercise any of these rights, please contact us (see “Contact Us” below). If you are in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
California Residents: If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), such as the right to know what personal data we have collected about you, the right to request deletion of that data, and the right to opt out of any sale of data. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
License Pricing and Commercial Use Disclosure
SkribusVOX offers three distinct license types for digital artworks, each with different permitted uses:
– Private Collector License: For personal, non-commercial use only.
– Corporate/Interior License: For commercial interior display and professional use.
– Full-Transfer / Digital Master License: For unlimited commercial exploitation and rights transfer.
License pricing reflects the legal scope and commercial rights granted. Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate license for their intended use. Misuse of a lower-tier license for purposes exceeding the granted rights constitutes a violation of our Terms and Conditions and may result in legal action.
For full details on licensing terms, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
Children´s Data
Our services are intended for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age. If we discover that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will promptly delete that information.
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. However, no security system is impenetrable, and transmission of data over the internet always involves some risk. By using our website, you acknowledge you accept these risks.
